Just want to say, I love You Melt Me. It is the story that made me want to search out more of your stories.

I really enjoyed “I, Omega”. Was hoping u could give a more detailed short of how they actually met. I always thought it would be a great prequel. Also just to let u know I enjoy your writings and stories. I bought “Spoils of War” first, then went back and bought all your books available. Thanks for some great reading.

  8. Jalane says:

I agree with Patty’s comment (3/10/13). I’ve read I, Omega 4? or more times, and each time I wonder about that first night. It sounds epic, yet all we actually see are only a few references to it. I’ve always thought the book should have started there, given the significance of that night (perhaps in a prologue), and then jumped ahead 2 months. I would give almost anything to see a prequel come out about it (with the same detail as is in I, Omega, of course πŸ™‚ )–I just adore that book!

Damn it, my webhost (mysteriously) stopped sending me notices for comments on this page. I don’t know wth is up with that. Sometimes, I get the notices and get them fast. Sometimes, I never know anyone’s said anything at all. Maybe the notices are getting caught up in my spam filter? Technology sucks. Gah.

Anyhoo…Yanno, I never thought of doing a prequel for IO? The notion just never popped into my skull. I’d thought about doing a sequel more than once and had worked on developing that idea. The sequel idea just never matured enough for me to think it was solid enough to push forward. Not about to waste reader dollars on a half-baked bit of meh, right? But a prequel, that first night in the club…THAT sounds kinda exciting. Would be nothing but pervy smut, but hey, I like the pervy smut, LOL.

I’m eyeball deep in work on other projects right now, but I’ll talk to my editor at LI about this. Pretty sure LI doesn’t take anything less than 20K and I don’t see something like a prequel hitting that mark. I think it’d be more novelette territory, probably near 10K, at most 15K. Woo boy, the pervy hotness, though. I mean, seriously. Can you imagine? Holy fuckballs, Batman. If LI doesn’t want to do the project because it’s too short, maybe I can roll it out myself.

Don’t get too excited, though. I’ve got enough work in the pipes to keep me hopping clear into Spring. Even if I wanted to tackle an IO prequel pronto, I wouldn’t be able to jack with it until probably early summer and that’s best case. I will definitely give this some thought, though. You betcha. Has such fascinating possibilities.

Thanks for this idea! I’ll see what I can do. πŸ˜€

I loved Pretty Poison, will there be a sequel?

I love your stories and look forward to each and everyone of them. Thank you

    HI Kari!

I LOVE ALL your books esp I, Omega and of course Spoils of War and Plunder. I saw your previous response to a possible pre sequel and/or sequel to I, Omega.. any chance with Plunder? I would love to see how Micah and Eli continue on with a “normal” life after the war…. is Micah able to reconnect with his family and finally meet the rest of Eli’s family. Does he discover other “witches”? Is Eli back with his clan or does he continue on as a slave? The possibility is endless πŸ™‚ Thank you for writing these amazing stories and as such I am a steadfast forever fan! Thanks!

Love the twists and turns in your stories. Never a dull moment. Can’t wait for the next book πŸ™‚

  15. Sharon C. says:

    Hi Kari,

I might as well skip to the bottom line: I love all of your books and One Last Try is no exception. It’s brilliant. I read with increasing fascination an original take an A/O relationship and a deft hand at writing about trauma, effects and consequences. I will do doubt, as I have others of your books, be reading this one again and again.
    Thank for sharing your talent.

    • Kari says:

      Hiya, Sharon!

Oh my. THANK YOU! So much, truly. Does my heart good when a reader connects with the story and shows me I managed to get the story I fell in love with that was playing like a movie in my head on the page. πŸ™‚ Very happy you enjoyed it!
