Please please PLEASE write the sequel to Lovely Wicked!! I read a lot & tend to forget the characters/plots 2-3 books later – but these guys are staying with me. I need to know what happens. Please put me – and them – out of our misery. Let Sam have his day.
Ok, am I crazy??? I would have sworn I read a blurb for a sequel to Spoils of War. I can vaguely remember some details from it. However I don’t see it anywhere. Did I make it all up? lol…. If so, are there any plans for a sequel? I certainly hope so. Thanks!
No, no, no, not crazy at all and yes, the sequel to Spoils is in the works. I had a blurb for Plunder (the Spoils sequel) up. I took it down when these other contracts started rolling in because I didn’t want everybody to go bug-eyed over so many projects in the pipes. I, Omega will release in September, Collared will release in late October (I think?). Then In the Red and then Plunder. I just took Plunder’s blurb down because I thought it’d look too cluttered. Once I Omega releases, I can move IO’s stuff to my released books page and free up room on the in-progress page so it doesn’t look so maniacal.
Did I write IO planning a sequel? No. Could I imagine returning to that story world, though? Oh yes. It really depends on readers. While — for now — I can’t see Gabriel and Cal getting a second book entirely to themselves, I can definitely see writing another story in that world with Burke (for example) as one of the primary heroes, but still has Cal & Gabriel in it. IF readers are interested. That said…I’m also already scheduled into spring. (As soon as In the Red is turned in, I’ll return to Plunder and a heretofore unmentioned m/m Dystopian zombie apocalypse story.)
Clear as mud, I know — sorry! Glad you liked I, Omega!
I would be interested in an ‘I Omega’ sequel. It was a really great book, and super sexy. I got especially attached to Gabriel and would like to see how he’s doing in his Omega role and adapting to everyone, though you started them on the road to HEA. I also love Cal’s possessiveness while still taking very great care of his pet. Great balance. I wouldn’t mind seeing more of Burke though. He seems like an interesting character and I like how he was the first of the pack to really be nice to Gabriel, offering him a drink, etc. Anyway, I really enjoyed the book so I figured that I would tell you I was very interested/would for sure buy a sequel.
I think your wrong about a sequel to “I’Omega.” It would be great to see the story continued. Don’t think daddy is going to give up without a fight and we need to see Gabriel assume his role as Omega and earn his place in the pack. Then Burke’s story would be a great follow up. Maybe even somewhere down the line see Jake mature and take a bigger role in the storylines. I think you could have a long running series with this “world.”
I agree…there could be more to the story. I don’t think Gabriel’s senator father would let go so easily. Gabriel also needs to earn his place in the pack just like anyone coming into the pack. Also, Gabriel working..How will Cal handle it. Also, so many characters in this one that you could write…the possibilities are endless..Burke, Jake, etc.
Finished Collared this morning and I LOVED it! I sincerely hope you take a journey back to that world (dare I hope for more from Connor, Emmett and David?!).
I’m with Sasha I finished Collared this morning and found the premise and setting very interesting. I’d also like to see where Connor, Emmett & David go from where we left them…
Hi, Kim! Glad you like ITR! As for the sequel…It depends on what readers want more — the sequel to In the Red or the sequel to my November release, Collared. Whichever readers want most between the two will be written first.
Glad you liked them! IO’s sequel idea is still growing. What readers want will determine which sequel comes first between Collared and In the Red. Early days yet, too early to tell.
I have to agree with CaryLory… they all were excellent reads, and all deserve sequels, although Collared wins the race by a nose in my opinion (I’ve been waiting longer for it… *shrug* ). Also, while I am very interested in in Burke’s story from IO, I kinda have to agree with Ginger Williams about a second story with Gabriel and Cal… I loved the chemistry between them, and I’m curious about what happens next.
I just finished reading “In the Red” and LOVED it! I’ve read three of your books so far…. first “I, Omega”, then “Collared” and now “In the Red”, and with each book I’ve come to love your writing more and more! After reading ITR I jumped on the internet in hopes of finding out when the sequel will be written.
As much as I loved “Collared”, can I cast my vote for “In the Red” as to which sequel will come first.
And I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a sequel to “I, Omega”, but I’m hoping for more of Gabriel and Cal. I really want to see how they both work together within the pack, and I’m just not ready for them to fade into being secondary characters yet.
I just finished In The Red, and I read Collared last month. I loved both, so picking which one I liked best is hard, but my pick is ITR. What I loved about it is the mystery behind the love story. Don’t get my wrong, I love a story with great sex scenes, but a great book has it all. Great sex, great main characters that click, good supporting characters, and most of all, a strong storyline to tie it all together.
I haven’t signed Plunder so I don’t have a release date yet, but I’m actively working on it right now. If you have twitter, follow me — I sometimes tweet lines from it.
I read “I, Omega” last night and finished “Collared” today. They are both fantastic books! I loved the characters so much, and the setting were very unique. I’ve never read anything quite like them, and I came to your website eagerly hoping to find out there were sequals planned!
I would love to see more of Cal and Gaberial and world you imagined for them. I think there is deffinitely a second story there, possibly with the Senator. And I could still see the potential for trouble brewing within other packs, if Gabrial is as rare and coveted as he was made out to be. I’m sure that there would be someone stupid/desperate enough to think a bond could be broken and then re-forged.
I would love to read a sequal to “Collered” as well. I loved that you the characters ended up in this fragile sort of trangle between the three of them, however I can see alot of potiental for more. Working out the logistics of that kind of relationship, expecially between two dominate personalities who have had their agressions centers re-wired. Finding the balanced between them would be fun to explore, as well as the ‘interesting’ laws that were being passed. Even the addition of another preadator lusting after Conner…
Anyways, I will eagerly await (and pray) for a sequal to both, and in the meantime will keep an eye out for future titles from you. Thank you for sharing them with the world!
FWIW, the IO sequel has been steadily cooking in the back of my skull and although I can’t say a lot, Cal and Gabriel will be front & center in it. It will be told from Burke’s POV and focus on a relationship centering on him, but Cal & Gabriel are intimately involved with it all. Yes, you’ll meet the good senator (poor Burke, LOL). IO2 isn’t actively on the table yet, but just wanted to say that story is coming together nicely.
I’ve read ITR, IO, SoW, and Collared now. Loved them all in various degrees. My vote is IO first (bc I’m a paranormal sort of gal and I want to see more about the pack rules in this world and how Gabe fits in) then a tie between SoW and Collared for me. Then ITR near the end. But that’s me.
An excerpt from which one? LOL! I’ll think about posting a short sneak peek of either Plunder or Dead Reckoning over the weekend on my blog, but if I get a slew of emails from pubs wanting it (haven’t signed it anywhere yet), it’ll be on your head. Hey, if you’re on twitter, I sometimes tweet lines from WIPs. Have already tweeted several lines from Plunder – YAY!
Love all of your books! I don’t care which one gets a sequel first as long as they all get one eventually Although, I must say I have re-read I, Omega twice now and would LOVE to hear more of Cal and Gabriel’s story….but then again, I’d love to hear more stories from the Collared world! Going to read In the Red now, keep up the good work!
I just stopped by to see if there was a sequal to “in the Red”. I just finished it and have to know what happens next!!!!! Please tell me when their story is continued. I have so many questions but don’t want to spoil anything for anyone else here.
Hi, guys! I’m actively working Plunder (Spoils of War sequel) and Dead Reckoning (zombie dystopia), but yes, there is a sequel for In the Red planned. Glad you liked Brian and Zachary!
Love the writing and the intriguing character development of “broken yet fixable” characters….
Granted, I am ‘way older’ than most of your readers, lol….I am shamelessly looking forward to the sequel of ‘In the Red’ – gripping, funny, a real page turner….and I’d have to say, my favourite so far…although ‘I, Omega’ seems to have a way of ‘sticking with you’ well after you’ve read the last page
Looking forward to reading more of your writing, in the near future – now that I’ve finally started to get use to ‘not having real pages to turn’
I haven’t made the announcement yet, but Plunder has been contracted so it’s pushing forward. As soon as I know the release date, trust me, I’ll bellow.
So glad sequels are coming! I’m also looking forward to the zombie story…who knew zombie stories could be sexy?! Any news on when Dead Reckoning might be released?
AND, if we’re voting…ITR is still my favorite, so a sequel would really rock! Thanks for all of the great characters.
I tabled Dead Reckoning (working title of the zombie story) so I could finish up Plunder. I’ve got a fair bit of the zombies done, but I haven’t pitched that story to anyone yet. Which is kind of funny considering a writer friend clued me onto an online zombie store and I went nuts shopping for contests for DR’s yet-to-be-contracted release. LOL.
After Plunder, I’ll wrap up the zombies, though, and then? I’d planned to do the sequel to either ITR or Collared, but the puzzle pieces of IO’s sequel have snapped into place in my head too. So…it’ll be another sequel. Just not sure which. It’d sure be nice to watch Zachary come into his own as a dom and Brian trusting him more. Plus, where I left the rabbit trail of their story at ITR’s end was just plain mean.
Just recently discovered you. I love your work. M/m bdsm/suspense is my absolute favorite genre, with In the Red being one of the best books I’ve ever read. I adore Brian and Zachary. I eagerly await the sequel and am looking forward to reading more of your work.
Right now, my schedule is shaping up to be Plunder releasing next (in August), finish the zombies, then sequel to I Omega and then the sequel to In the Red. Glad you liked Zachary & Brian, guys — that sequel is coming.
Just finished re-reading In the red – and been hunting everywhere to find the sequel. Please, you can’t just leave them hanging like that! Please push up your order of writing.
I loved IO and C and ITR! Have read them all multiple times, will read any and all sequels, I’m sure multiple times. The one closest to my heart would be IO though! Do you think you could write a little faster Kari?
LOL, I’ve got another one (Plunder) coming out in a few days, I swear. There’ll be more newsy bits about it soon…I just spent a week at a writers conference and than invested another week with the most obnoxious con superflu ever. I’m not on my game just recently, but there is more coming. FWIW, IO2 is next. Woot?
I love your stories and I’m very happy to learn that you are following up with more sequels. Now, I just have to resist the urge to stare at your website and scream “Faster! Faster!!” while staring at my tablet. Thank you for putting your stories down in print.
A sequel to IO? CANNOT WAIT. xD I’ve re-read IO so many times, it’s definitely my favorite of all your books. Will it be a continuation of Cal and Gabriel’s story kr a side character like Burke or Jake? Also, was wondering if you plan to ever write a sequel to Collared someday?
Hello,
I only want to say thank you for your wonderful books!!!
I love I, Omega. You have created really interesting and originall world there. Cal and Gabriel are amazing together and I would loved to read more books with characters like them (I hope there will be a sequel from this book!!!).
Have a nice day! K.
Kari, I must sound like a braty child screaming, “Are we there yet.” But do you have a general time span for when ITR sequel will be published? 6 months, a year, or more from now? Thanks, loved this book.
Hiya, Denise! Sorry, I was down for a month or so with a wicked, wicked series of migraines and it’s taken me a while to get my groove back. BUT I did finish the zombie story and have moved into the shifter story, like I said. Shifter story was supposed to be the sequel to IO, but Burke wasn’t cooperating so it’s not IO2. This is a brain worm that wouldn’t let go, something different. I’ll turn to ITR2 after this is done.
Just finished Plunder. I loved it even better than the first one, and Spoils of War was absolutely fantastic. Thanks so much for your work. I’ve read Collared, I Omega, Spoils, Plunder, and In the Red. Loved them all; but I will always have a special place for Zachary and Brian. I’d give up chocolate for ITR2 and I LOVE CHOCOLATE! Thanks again; I await your next book eagerly
Glad you liked the excerpt! It’s going to slay me to wait until Dec. 1st to release it. I had soooooooooooooo much fun writing Seth & Owen’s story and I’m dying for everyone to laugh along with me so I want to release it now, now, now!
To add insult to injury in re my fraying patience to run with this, I’m also uploading a holiday short story I wrote a couple years ago, You Melted Me, to Amazon at the same time that I Don’t is going up. (Once YMM is live, if any of y’all want to help me make it free with Amazon’s price-matching function, that’d be awesome.) AND I’m releasing a POD print book, I, Omega and Collected Shorts that should appear on Amazon any day now too, $7.99 whattabargain.
So yeah, I’ve had all this good stuff cooking and now that all that work is finally soooooooo close to the new release strut…I’m like a yippy cocker spaniel right now, swear to God. LOL!
I recently read “I don’t, a Christmas Wish”, and loved every word of it! It was so much fun to read! Will you ever be revisiting these guys again in the future?? I would love another sneak peek into their lives.
I think a sequel to I Don’t called I Do! would be wicked funny, but who’s getting married? Seth? Or Eddie? HEE HEE HEE. But sadly, no, that isn’t active on my docket at the moment. For now, I’m in edits with Half a Million Dead Cannibals and eyeball deep brainstorming another White Knot (same-sex marriage) story that’s…interesting. And more than a tad despicable. LOL. Not quite sure the world’s ready for a story like that, but I’m obsessed.
Question 6 meant so much to me, I’m just not ready to let it go, I think. Plus, I have a sequel to Dead Cannibals started (Dead Reckoning) that, if I have any soul at all, I should finish within this decade so y’all aren’t waiting twenty years after Dead Cannibals releases.
Hope you like You Melted Me — which is free on The Mighty Zon now, YAY!
Really enjoyed ‘Dead Cannibals’. I truly hope you’ll have mercy on us and have ‘Dead Reckoning’ out sometime this century! Would love to see more of Riley and Graham.
You see Riley and Graham in Dead Reckoning, but 2 other heroes take center stage. I’ve got quite a bit of that story done already. I’d have to check to see which project is supposed to be worked on when, but I’m pretty sure DR is up after the pornocats. Honestly, I’ve done too much work in DR not to finish it & fairly soon too. Plus…It starts with hero2 hanging hero1 from the rafters of a barn to check him for bites. OMFG, how can I NOT finish a story like that??? So yeah. It’ll be coming before the end of the decade for sure.
Wow, now I’m totally excited for the next part! Would’ve loved to have seen more of Riley and Graham, but I’m loving the direction you’re taking DR in. I’ll pray to the Muse Gods for you to be able to finish it soon!!
I love Riley and Graham too much to wreck their relationship for a sequel. I wanted all new guys to wreck. I’m working on the pornocats and a smaller project besides right now. Once those are turned in…? Shouldn’t take much to finish DR, but I have the attention span of a neurotic cocker spaniel.
I finished ITR and Collared a few weeks ago and have been stalking the interwebz looking for some updates. While I REALLY need to find out what happens in ITR (cause you’re just so cruel like that lol), I’m absolutely dyinggggg for a sequel to Collared. Any updates on either of these? Love your work!

Loved “Lovely Wicked” I sure hope you write the sequel, the storyline is incomplete and doesn’t have the happy ending we all want.
I just re-read Lovely Wicked and came looking for the sequel. Please please finish Sammy’s story soon!!!
What Rough Beast – I loved the book and am looking forward to the next one. Please let me know when it will be out or if you have any exerpts.
Love your work
Marilyn
Please please PLEASE write the sequel to Lovely Wicked!! I read a lot & tend to forget the characters/plots 2-3 books later – but these guys are staying with me. I need to know what happens. Please put me – and them – out of our misery. Let Sam have his day.

Sorry for the confusion!
I absolutely adored your book “I Omega”, is there perhaps a sequel planned? I would love to read more of Cal and his sweet omega.

I’m with Sasha
I finished Collared this morning and found the premise and setting very interesting. I’d also like to see where Connor, Emmett & David go from where we left them…
i ust read in the red in one sitting. Loved it when is the sequel coming out
Hi, Kim! Glad you like ITR! As for the sequel…It depends on what readers want more — the sequel to In the Red or the sequel to my November release, Collared. Whichever readers want most between the two will be written first.
You’re kidding, right? ITR clearly needs closure and I hope that the sequel is sooner rather than later. Great story, great characters — loved it!
I agree with Nancy, if I don’t get a sequel to itr soon I just might lose it!!!! Pretty please with sugar on top???
OMG— just finished In the Red and I Omega also read Collared— all terrific compelling reads.
All need sequels–soon —- Please!!!

I just finished Collared. I came right over here to see if there was a possible sequel coming. I’d love to read more about those characters!!
Yes, there will definitely be a Collared sequel, featuring all 3 characters from the first book. A continuation, what happens next.
spoils of war best book ever!when does #2 come out?
I haven’t signed Plunder so I don’t have a release date yet, but I’m actively working on it right now. If you have twitter, follow me — I sometimes tweet lines from it.
Can’t really decide. Collared? In The Red? I, Omega? I will buy either.
LOL, glad you liked all 3!

Zombie apocalypse? Intriguing.
Wow, glad you liked all of them. WOOT! If it helps any at all, I have gotten farther with my idea for IO’s sequel. I have a stronger sense of it.
Hey, Kari…
Got an excerpt from your next book, yet??? Sneaking a peek ahead
keeps some of us sane while we’re waiting for that next book!
Love all of yours so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just read the excerpt from Plunder—-WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can’t wait until this one is out!!!
Glad you liked it! Now, I have to figure out what on earth I did with Plunder’s blurb.
Love all of your books! I don’t care which one gets a sequel first as long as they all get one eventually

Please, please put the sequel to ITR at the very top of your list. It’s such a cliffhanger that it’s driving me crazy!!
Just doing a check when Plunder is scheduled to come out.
Hey, Tomeka!

Glad you liked Brian & Zachary, Emily! And so far, my schedule’s still shaking out like I said before: Plunder, zombies, IO2 and then ITR2.
Oh, I almost forget to compliment Collared! It’s one of my favorites too!!!
Kari,
Do you have a date for I, Omega 2 or In the Red 2????
Can’t wait!!!!
Dawn
Hi Kari. I just finished Lovely Wicked and I loved it!!! So hot!!! Need a sequel with a happy ending with Sam!!!! Is it coming soon???
Just finished Plunder. I loved it even better than the first one, and Spoils of War was absolutely fantastic. Thanks so much for your work. I’ve read Collared, I Omega, Spoils, Plunder, and In the Red. Loved them all; but I will always have a special place for Zachary and Brian. I’d give up chocolate for ITR2 and I LOVE CHOCOLATE! Thanks again; I await your next book eagerly
I just read the sneek peek to “I don’t, A Christmas Wish”, and laughed… a lot!
LOL!
Well, if u want to release all that nervous energy by finishing the sequel to In The Red, I won’t be mad about it….just saying…
I recently read “I don’t, a Christmas Wish”, and loved every word of it! It was so much fun to read! Will you ever be revisiting these guys again in the future?? I would love another sneak peek into their lives.
Now I’m off to read “You Melted Me”
I think a sequel to I Don’t called I Do! would be wicked funny, but who’s getting married? Seth?
March with me people!!!
IO2, IO2, IO2, IO2
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ha,ha, yeah I’ll march as long as ITR2 comes out next…love me some Zach & Brian LOL!
I would also love sequels to What Rough Beast
Hey, Kari! Now that the zombies are done…what’s next???
Uhmmmm….a book I’ve been referring to as my pornocats? Run/pounce/fuck. Awesome. LMAO
Really enjoyed ‘Dead Cannibals’. I truly hope you’ll have mercy on us and have ‘Dead Reckoning’ out sometime this century!
Would love to see more of Riley and Graham.
Glad you liked Dead Cannibals!
Glad you liked both books! I’m not actively working ITR2 or Collared2 at the moment, sorry.
